Cement Industry has a good vision in Iran . In Iran, Cement industry was established in 1933, When the first Cement Plant was commissioned with a production level of 100 tons per day. After a 76 years long history, Today,s Iran Cement Industry comprises of 55 cement plants with a total installed capacity of 60 million tons per annum.
Now Iran with an actual production capacity 60 million tons per annum ranks 7th among the largest cement producing countries the world, and the first in middle East.
Iran Cement Capacity increase program has been started with a number of new cement projects and some expansion and/or upgrading projects.
